ESIC ONLINE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM - ESIC ONLINE REFERRAL SYSTEM
On July 2015 Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) of india has launched a web portal to manage operations of major ESI hospitals in India. Portal has provide option for insured person to book for an appointment with the doctor.
The conventional process to consult a doctor in ESI hospital starts when insured person visit an ESI dispensary and a referral is given by the duty doctor to concerned department in the ESI hospital. This referral is valid for 30 days and insured person should visit ESI hospital with in 3 days.
How to get ESIC hospital referral token online?
ESIC has made this procedure online. For this you have to do following steps.
Step1: Visit ESIC hospitals and Dispensaries Website www.esichospitals.gov.in
On the home page , you can see "Book your Appointment" section.
Step2: Select the City , Select the location ( where your ESI hospital resides), Select the department or Speciality and click on "Book Now" button
Step3: On the result page, you will see the list of doctors available and their consultation time. Click on "Book Appointment" button and select the date of consultation.
Step4: "IP Registration" is the next step. Here you have to Enter your Name, Mobile number, IP number (10 digit ESIC Insurance Number) and security code (which is shown as an image ) and click on "Register" button.
Step5: You will receive an OTP code in your mobile.
Step6: Enter the OTP code on OTP verification page, once your OTP is verified, You appointment will be booked and you'll receive the reference code.

ESIC Insured persons may logon to ESIC's employee portal by clicking here ESIC.NIC.IN and check the status of there insurance, claim details and other details related to coverage and treatment. On the ESIC Employee portal login page enter Your 10 digit Insurance number as User name and submit.
