In various regions of Africa and other parts of the world, children as well as adults suffer or die due to certain diseases or conditions which could have been cured if treated in right time.
Mercy Ships are International sailing hospital ships with a great mission to reach the poorest people on the planet to provide the advanced and free medical care that could saves lives.
This charity organization was found in 1978 by Don and Deyon Stephens. It runs the largest non-governmental hospital ship in the world, the 16,500-ton flagship Africa Mercy. It provides First class totally free medical care and various humanitarian and sgriculture development programs.
Mercy Ships sails to various port regions where 75% of population dwells and docks ship at the port and volunteers serve the people of that area providing the advanced medical care that could saves lives. Organization provides free life saving surgeries for people where medical care is nearly non-existent or not at all accessible. Since 1978 they had conducted morthan 75000 lifesaving
surgeries. There are more than 450 volunteers including doctors, nurses, assistant and helpers
