Edmund Thomas Clint, Young talented artist who completed more than 25,000 paintings in just 7 years!


Edmund Thomas Clint was a young talented artist who was known for drawing more than 25,000 pictures in his small period of life. He passed away at the age of 7, but left behind a legacy of amazing art using mediums like crayons, chalk, water colours and oil paints to create drawings and paintings that mirrored the world around him.

Name : Edmund Thomas Clint (Clint)
Born : May 19, 1976

Died : April 15, 1983 at the age six years and 11 months
Place of Birth : Kochi / Cochin , Kerala, India
Parents : Mr M.T. Joseph and Mrs. Chinnamma Joseph

Clint's father was a fan of Clint Eastwood, the famous Hollywood actor cum director. So he gave his son the name "Clint".

He won several prizes at drawing competitions. At the age of 5, Clint secured first place in a competition held for painters below the age 18. He was interested in painting Hindu festivals and traditional events near his home in Kochi
