Flying Fish
Marine fishes that can make self-propelled, powerful leaps out of sea water to protect themselves from their predators are commonly known as Flying Fish. Their long, wing-like fins enable gliding flight for considerable distances. Longest Flight recorded is 45 seconds at coast of Yakushima Island, Japan
Here is a wonderful video aired by BBC of a Flying Fish which is in a no win situation, picked off above the surface by Frigatebirds and hunted underwater by the Dorado.
