Is it possible to open the links in DISQUS comment section in a separate browser tab or window?

DISQUS is one of the best among the Comment tools opted by various bloggers. They provide an easy to integrate Javascript (JS) code to implement a comment section on your blog. You can use Facebook, google logins to post comments.

Currently when a user submit a post and if it has some links, the comment is shown in the comment listing section.
On clicking the link it opens in same window. I put  a ticket to DISQUS asking for an option to add attributes like " target='blank' "  and  "rel='nofollow' " to the anchor tags of links in the comment section. here is the reply I got from DISQUS.

While we don’t currently offer the functionality to augment links inline, we’ve forwarded this as a suggestion to our team for consideration.
Please note that all links in Disqus are nofollow by default.
Thanks for the feedback and please let us know if you have any questions or separate requests by starting a new support request at http://disqus.com/support
So as per this mail, currently they add  " rel='nofollow' " attribute to the anchor tag and in future they may provide an option to set th links open in another tab or window.

How to handle links and email in DISQUS comment?
If user has submitted a comment having a  link and you want to remove the linking, what you have to do is:
Login to Disqus as admin, on the comment listing section, open the comment for editing, then edit the link like below:

suppose there is a link http://www.abc.com ,  change this to   www[dot]abc[dot]com
Similary change emails too. For example if user put an email in the comment, like testmail@gmail.com
change it to testmail[at]gmail[dot]com

Please share if there are any other better options
