To file your Income Tax online and free of cost , please visit Income Tax Department, Govt of India's web portal incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

ONLINE FILING
Take the website https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/
Register on the website using your PAN Card Number
LOGIN to the portal with your credentials.
GO TO e-File - Income Tax Return - Prepare and Submit Online

OFFLINE FILING
Download the applicable Income tax return (ITR) form from Downloads section of the website
Fill it offline
Generate XML and save it on the desktop.
Register on e-Filing website using your PAN Card Number
LOGIN to the portal with your credentials.
Go to e-File - Income Tax Return - Upload Return
